Routes and Rest Stops

The Chico Velo Wildflower Century offers 7 route options ranging from 12 miles to 125 miles, giving riders of all ages and abilities an opportunity to experience the Wildflower.  All routes begin and end at the Silver Dollar Fairgrounds in Chico, Ca.

All routes described below are PRELIMINARY and subject to change before the actual event. We are working closely with regional partners to monitor road conditions and accessibility. If routes need to change, we will post updates here as soon as possible.

Cue sheets, route arrow colors, and rest stop locations are not finalized until 2 weeks before the event. Please check back then to download final maps/cue sheets.


NEW FOR 2023: Paper maps will NOT be available at the event.

Wildflower 100

The classic! This one has it all including memorable climbs and smooth flats.

Metricflower 62

Not ready for the full 100? The Metricflower has half the climbing with the same amount of fun.

Been training? This one is for those that want it ALL. All the climbing, all the miles, all in a day's ride.

A climber's paradise- the Mountainflower maximizes climbing and eliminates the flats.

Valleyflower 30

Breathe easy with this climb-less route that ​takes you on a tour of scenic country roads.

Got kiddos? Take 'em out for a Sunday ride! The Childflower is the only route with a designated start time and comes with its own escort.
