2019 Update:

2019 Wildflower Update:

As of 1/29/19
  • We ARE  keeping the same routes for the Wildflower as we have had the last several years.  We are actively working with the county, cities, and other agencies involved to make the ride as safe as possible.
  • Only 1 Route Change has been made this year and that is to the FLATFLOWER 60.  We are taking riders down Richvale HWY versus HWY 162.  162 is a very high traffic road and we want riders to be as safe as possible.  You can see the route change HERE
  • Please keep in mind, you will be going through a devastated area.  Please be respectful of those still living in the area and the properties of those you pass.
  • Stay on on course and do not enter private property, please obey all traffic laws.
  • As for the Fairgrounds, we are still planing on using the Silver Dollar Fairgrounds for our event staging.  Camping is still anticipated to be available.
  • Looking for what we are doing for those affected by the camp fire and how you can help?
    Check out: www.chicovelo.org/campfire
As of 1/2/19
  • We are planning on maintaining the same route(s) as we have offered the last few years.  Meaning, the roads are open and we are planning on keeping the Wildcat routes and Wildflower Routes the same as well as the Flat Flower Routes as long as it is safe to do so.
  • We are actively working with Butte County, Caltrans, and Paradise on ensuring the ride is as safe as possible and will provide updates and any changes as we work with these agencies
2019 Hotel and Camping Update:
As of 1/2/19
  • Hotels are opening up online registration, you can book your stay in a number of hotels PLEASE check out Explore Butte County's site HERE to find all available hotels in the area for that weekend
    • As a side note, The Marriott and Courtyard Suites in Chico believe they will not be opening up rooms for guests other than camp fire victims.  So, if you are unable to make a reservation at one of those hotels, this could be the reason
  • We are planning on using the Silver Dollar Fairgrounds (we have been in communication with them throughout) for our event Headquarters and  Camping will be available.
